Some antivirus programs may interfere with the installation of Office and should be disabled during the installation process. A check-in to the BU server is required within a month of installation and then every six months after. Off-campus users: If your computer is off campus during the installation or subsequent check-ins, VPN will be required in order to authenticate the license. Upon leaving the university your installation of Office Professional Plus 2016 will cease to function. Review system requirements before installing. 
Downloads require BU student log-in and password. Office 2013 is not compatible with Windows XP or Vista.
